Title: My Journey in Second-Year Junior High - Uniting with Learning
Good afternoon, teachers, fellow classmates! I stand today in this small platform with an immense pride and excitement, for the opportunity to share with you my journey through the first two quarters of second-year junior high. We've all had our challenges, our ups and downs, and in the journey of growth that comes with it, I believe that every experience has a part to play.
I begin with a thought that is a part of the daily grind. Textbooks, math problems, and scientific equations; these have become our constant companions. For many, the first lesson that the 11-plus-grade journey brings is that of academic resilience. In our pursuit of knowledge, I have found myself consistently revising and revising. Sometimes, the pressure can be overwhelming, but I have learned that it's not just about the answers; it's about the process of discovery.
Our journey in junior high is not just about academics. We also engage in various extracurricular activities. From the lively atmosphere of the school festival to the competitive spirit of the inter-class sports events, we are all part of this massive influx of interaction. Remember those crazy night drills during football matches when team effort led us to great victory? Yes, each act - those games - create lifetime memories for me to savor for long in future days. The redemptive push on playing more wasn’t because I wanted a trophy. Rather it was more so an answer to my thirst for something greater than what a simple game could offer - it was a feeling of being a part of something bigger.
Let us not forget our time spent in our little group studies. It's here where I have found true companionship and a source of support. When a subject seems unfathomable, or when I feel overwhelmed by my studies, it's my peers who help me navigate through the rough patches. Our group sessions are not just about exchanging ideas but also about sharing dreams and aspirations. The journey through junior high is not just about exams; it's about growth, learning and bonding with peers who will be there in every phase of life's journey.
Moreover, it’s also about facing those inevitable fears and insecurities. Whether it’s about grades or relationships with friends, there’s no one way to overcome them. What works for one may not work for another. What I learned is that every individual has their own unique way of dealing with these challenges. We need to learn to trust ourselves and to find our own path in this journey.
As we move forward into the second half of our second-year journey, I believe that we should carry with us a sense of gratitude for all the experiences we've had. Whether it's an exciting lesson learned or an eye-opening moment in science lab, we have so much to cherish. But there's also more to be achieved; we still have many subjects to learn about and life to explore! We can push harder; we can discover more, together as one school.
Today I share this story as much for us all to unite our minds on one theme – Learning:
1、Education does not stop after we graduate; learning continues through every challenge we face in life, as individuals and as a group;
2、Learning brings out memories and skills that become more valuable over time;
3、Together we grow and face the world together!
In conclusion, my journey in second-year junior high has been an exciting one filled with challenges and opportunities. It’s been a time of growth and discovery, but also a time of bonding with peers and teachers who have become my family here at school. As we move forward into this second semester of this important phase of life’s education process - learning that links individuals within themselves but also communities to an enthralling extent, remember there's a group on every end row by your side no matter the questions before you may lead – together! The powerful collaboration can reach further than you may imagine.
Thank you for joining me on this journey of self-discovery and learning! May our school become stronger through the knowledge gained and our unity! Thank you!
